FAQ

How does TourBot work?
TourBot operates very similarly to a traditional brokerage. Once hired, we will place a robot in your unit along with an electronic lockbox on the exterior of the building. These lock boxes will grant prospective tenants access to the unit. Upon entry, they’ll be met by one of our agents at the door.
-
How will TourBot save me money?
At TourBot, we utilize telepresence robots to conduct tours, creating an environment where our agents can be present at any location at any time. This flexibility allows us to deliver the same excellent quality of a traditional tour while substantially reducing our fees to you.
-
What do you need from me?
We do all the heavy lifting! We ask that power be provided to the unit. This enables us to power our robot and helps ensure safety during the tours. No wifi is required as all of our equipment runs through a cellular connection.
-
What if I have privacy concerns for the current tenant?
TourBot takes privacy seriously, which is why all of our video calls are end-to-end encrypted. For added peace of mind, tenants will be provided a cover to place over the robots’ cameras when not in use. This cover will also block the robot's microphones.
-
How does TourBot bill me?
We don’t get paid till you get paid! Our fees are not due till your lease is executed. We accept certified bank checks, as well as credit and debit cards.
-
Can TourBot manage rent collection?
Unfortunately, TourBot is currently unable to collect rent on behalf of the building. This feature is currently in our pipeline and will be available soon.
